I had made one or two clocks in the past and it was something I enjoyed. I had already made a couple of the 45mm clocks before this deal came up so I was there in double quick-time. The quality of the components are, in my opinion, unbeatable. The clock itself looks as though it might cost double, the brass rod is top quality and the fiddle rail end pillars are extremely heavy and fit with the brass rod perfectly….everything you need to make two clocks for £15.99 instead of £23.14 - how bad is that !!!!

I made my ones from oak. I found a 42mm forstener bit on the web, (China I think…) and with careful drilling, and just a bit of hand sanding to finish, the clock just pops in nicely thanks to the rubber surround.

I copied the one that Prokraft did in their video and am pleased with the outcome - not too much work and it looks truly professional !!!! I shall finish these two the same and they will be put away for next year’s Xmas presents…..brilliant value for money !!!

I have used Prokraft for nearly two years. I had been making pens for a number of years and bought from many outlets but found that so many products were the same and sold under different names. There are oh so many different pen kits out there and, me, not much more than a hobbyist, just got confused all the time. I really only needed about five or so different kits and happened upon Prokraft by accident. They were exactly what I wanted, really good quality kits, and not that many that sends people dizzy, but enough for me. Because of their product list, I have stayed with them for 2 years or so and only a few times have I needed to go elsewhere - mainly for blanks. Their service is second to none. Extremely fast deliveries and always fast, not just now and then.
So, I’ve expanded from just pens and tried some more Prokraft products and always been pleased. Also, a great help, and source of enjoyment, are the instructional Videos on YouTube. I’ve got to know Jon, the owner, a little, and I think he has such a good attitude to selecting products that Prokraft covers all (…nearly…) my needs.
