Disappointing. No problem drilling and tube insertion. Turned between centres but despite a freshly sharpened gouge and speed of 2500 rpm experienced lots of 'chips out'.
I bought three of these blanks to Go with the atom2 kits. Turned out really nice. I will say I needed to keep sharpening my tools as the metal in these soon dulled them . Using carbide was the answer
I was very pleased with the 2 hybrid pen blanks 1 red and 1 blue, both turned very well and I was very pleased with the finish.I have always been happy with the service and products from Prokraft, I have been a costumer of Prokraft for a couple of years and in my opinion they are second to none.
