Not as tricky as I expected...

Don't be put off by the need to drill a thousand holes of different exact depths - this worked fine on all three that I made and I am pretty klutzy. I turned out the larger hole as I did not have the right sized drill. For the others, a bit of tape on the drill bit and some patience got everything to where it needed to be.

I experimented with shapes and my final one - a sapele block in the shape of a mushroom - looked the best. Another winner from Prokraft. Three friends who are into cocktails are going to have a nice addition to their bar kits.
