The Pro-grind mill mechanism is a quality ceramic grinder in a pre-assembled section

The beauty of these kits is they adjust from the bottom and do not require a hole through the top grinding knob like a traditional mill - this gives greater flexibility in design

The main shaft can be trimmed to make any size mill required up to 12" long

This kit is a metric kit (not an imperial US model) and requires drill sizes of 11mm, 25mm, 38mm and 42mm (the latter can be done with your turning tools manually)

YOU DO NOT NEED ANY SPECIAL TURNING TOOLS TO MAKE THIS KIT

KEY FEATURES:

ceramic grinding burr - suitable for salt, pepper, herbs and spices

ratchet inner burr - twist back and forth to grind, you don't need to let go and re-grip

adjustable length kit - from approx 5" to 14" depending on your design

simple to fit - no special tools - mechanism all pre-assembled

inner paddle - agitates the contents to send them towards the grinding burrs

click adjuster holds it's position - no need to re-adjust after filling

easy to fill - pull the top grinder knob off, fill and push back on

These kits are fun to make and produce a great quality finished mill that is sure to impress

Best pepper mill Kits

I've made quite a few pepper Mills, but I can honestly say these are the easiest ones I've made and with just 2 drill sizes required, you won't be disappointed

Pro-grind mill

I’ve been turning pepper mills for years now. Normally using original makes of mill. Having tried the pro-grind mechanisms I found them to be the easiest to make yet. The redesigned top drive is brilliant so easy to install and creates more opportunities to create different top designs . Very pleased so far .

The video and instructions are a great help for attempting a pepper mill for the first time. The crush grind mechanism works really well and is a quality product.

Pro-grind Mill Mechanism

This is much easier to drill out especially for the top part. The grind of the pepper is th same as those others sold at twice the price.
