The Prokraft shoe horn kit is a single ended kit that can have a handle made as long or short as required
The built-in ferrule makes for a seamless transition from horn to handle when turned to the correct dimensions
The kit comes with an M6 thread for direct to wood handles and an M6 insert for gluing into acrylic handles
Length 170mm
Requires a turned tenon of 11mm diameter x 7mm length and a pilot hole of 5.5mm for Wooden handles (7.5mm x 25mm pilot for acrylic insert)
A simple project that can be great fun to show off your spindle turning skills

I mainly turn pens, but wanted to try the shoehorn. I found the video easy to follow and had a go.
The hardest part for me was to drill the hole for the horn, it has to be perfectly central, but to give a little leway I turned the horn end slightly larger and scewed the end over to make a small shoulder and it turned out great.
It's a great gift idea or for sales, and good quality.
