Very sharp, and easy to use. Very handy piece of kit.
First use in soft wood the shaft pulled straight out of the handle. No sign of epoxy and clearly the friction fit was useless. After keying the shaft with a file and a dollop of epoxy glue the awl is now an excellent toolbox addition and is surprisingly effective. At £3 something, perhaps we shouldn’t expect too much.
Strong blade and the handle fits my hand perfectly, it got a lot of use, would recommend 👍
This fits my small hands wonderfully. It also fits in a hole just by my lathe so it doesn't get lost in the shavings.
Ideal tool for marking and inserting an opening for the screw to enter.
