Solid brass woodturners thread joint

34mm outer diameter with decorative ring steps and curve for a fine detailed piece

internal centre measures 25m and base is easily drilled with a 25mm drill for the central void

turning diameter for base part = 29mm

turning diameter for top part = 30mm

parts require gluing (glue not supplied)

Delicate and lovely

These are delicate which is great. They were very easy to fit. My only suggestion is to make the the thread a triple so that it can be undone with just a turn or two.

Tried to use this fitting to make a small pill box. Unfortunately I found the thread pitch too small and the lid kept cross threading and so I abandoned the project and replaced with a simple push fit lid.
