Love the quality of the metal components but feel the actual click mechanism let's this kit down a bit.

The kits are easy to make and the Antique Bronze looks esspecially good. Turning between centres seems to give a better result. Also made a few aluminum versions in black that I really like.

once the pen was constructed the refill emptied via the nib while stood on a pen stand, had to purchase a parker style refill.

No problem with the concept but found the instructions a bit vague. Had to fathom out which way the plastic parts fitted in the heel end.

The kit is good but when I tried to fit the pencil adaptation it seemed to be too long to enable the nib end to screw on . Having used probably , too much force to screw together the pencil would not work properly. Refitting the gel refill I now find the click mechanism does not work smoothly so may have damaged it. I have made many pens over the years so not a beginner.
