The Saturn™ Pen kit is a heavy bolt action kit that works with a Parker style ballpoint refill and finished in premium quality heavy chrome plating
It is called the Saturn because it looks a little like the Apollo Saturn space rocket and has the bolt action cap designed like the Apollo command module
The nib section (nosecone) is constructed of 4 parts and has interchangeable rings (available separately) so you can customise your final design with a decorative band
The short tube section makes it great for using up small or spare blanks whilst still making an impressive kit that will undoubtedly be noticed and admired
Each kits weighs over 50g and once picked up it is hard to put down
Any wooden or acrylic parts are shown for illustration and are NOT included

A brilliantly put together piece of kit, and an easy to follow video that ends up with, even a simpleton like me being able to make a really nice looking pen. I will buy another.

Very little wood turning required for this pen, but end result is very good. Quite heavy, with a really solid bolt action that I really like.

After watching Jon’s video I thought what a good idea to involve the younger generation so my grandson ‘made his pen. The second good idea was the bolt action, foolproof, easy to make and assemble and unique.
